I am using the parameters of this group a little creatively to spice things up! For this swap we will "scavenge" our partners profile and create for them a Whimsey Parcel. What is this you ask? Well, I am defining it as a medium envelope (at least 6x9) that is heavily decorated and filled with themed goodies. In this case it is profile themed. The envie: Spend some time on your packaging. Make this a work of happy mail art! Try combining different elements, collage, deco tape, custom lables, rubber stamps, paint, hand make your envelope, upcycle packaging, etc. Use your partners profile to inspire your whimsical parcel through and through. The contents: Since this is the first swap of this type, I am keeping it profile based to try and generate interest. Please include at least five items, package being worth about five dollars. Both store bought and handmade items welcome. The recap: One medium envelope filled with at least 5 profile inspired items. All neatly packaged an a mail art envie, valuing around five dollars before sending. I do check profiles to ensure recent log in, hearty profiles and good standings. Any questions, feel free to post below. I hope taking some creative liberty is okay! The picure above is of a file folder I altered and mailed. This is just one example of how you can whimsically (if that is a word!) send your package. If this was the parcel I was sending, I could then include a few handmade lettersets, stationery, cards, custom address or mailing lables, a few sheets of ephemera, collage sheets, stickers, die cuts, etc. |
