@Francy0212 had a "twenty-something penpal swap" and I thought it was a neat idea. Since I'm in the mood for a penpal, too, I'm going to create a Forty-something Penpal Swap! If you're between the ages of 40 and 49, and you like to write letters, and possibly make a penpal, this swap's for you! Write a letter to your partner, introducing yourself, and consider including some questions within your letter to encourage your partner to write back with their answers. I think most people prefer a hand-written letter, but if you have a medical situation that prevents you writing a letter by hand, then you're welcome to type your letter. Please write a letter, rather than a note. One 8.5x11 sheet or two 5x7 sheets is the minimum. Send what you yourself would love to find in your mailbox. When you finish writing your letter, consider including something a little extra in your letter. It is not required, but isn't it fun to open a letter and a picture, bookmark, stickers, blank notecard, or something unexpected falls out? So consider it. It makes for an extra special letter and definitely brings a smile to the recipient's face. You will have 1 partner for this swap, as I want you to devote your time and attention to one person. Newbies are welcome with a filled-out profile. Everyone else is welcome who is 40-49 yrs old and who has no unexplained 1s. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Any comments or suggestions, share them, too. I hope to find a penpal and hope you do, too! |
