Description:

This swap is for a wrist pincushion using this tutorial by Girl in Pink. It is important that you use either a canning lid or something equally sturdy to back your project and avoid any unwanted pin sticks by your partner.

Decorate the pincushion however you like. You can make it shabby chic or modern and bright. Check out your partners’ profile for ideas. You can list the general type of pincushion you would like to receive in the comments section below the swap on the swap homepage.

To join this swap you must be a member of Crafting Queens in good standing. That means no recent 1’s or 3’s and your ratings must be a 4.95 or above to join this swap.

If you have any questions please PM me. I will angel if it is necessary.

Any chance of this being internatonal - it would be soooooooooooo light to send!!

I will check with the other participant if she is fine with making it international I will happily make the change.

can you make a link to the tutorial?

jetleg 03/22/2011 #

the link is actually in the first line of the swap. It is the word "this" in the first sentence. I hope that helps. The tutorial is on the 1st page of the blog that comes up, just scroll down a little and you will find it. Thanks, Jeanette

Since it is katiewoo I am fine with it.... wink wink Katie!

the tutorial is great! I would like to use snapple lids instead. Is this OK? I could make two instead of one for my partner. The edges are not so sharp and the pincushion size is more suitable for a wristband.

I think Snapple lids are fine...any type of lid will work. Just adapt the size accordingly.
