Handmade items are just fine =) As long as it at least cost 5 dollars to make =)

hmm. My efforts making an owl are probably worth $5. And the item would sell for more than that at a craft fair or Etsy, for about $15. But the supplies for my ami owls are not $5. They cost about 2 dollars in supplies. I don't know how I'd get it up to five and still have it look like an owl. Cotton yarn is best on that animal and it just isn't very pricey!

if you're crocheting an owl, thats totally fine =) the effort you put into it are well worth more than5 dollars!
