Make A Masquerade Mask ~ USA Only

I just love beautifully decorated elegant looking masquerade masks. For this swap, you will make your partner a beautiful, elegant, highly decorated masquerade mask. You may use whatever you want for the base. If you use one of those plastic mask bases, please cover the back with some sort of soft material so it doesn't scratch your partner's face.

Decorate your partner's mask however you want using whatever materials you want. Please pay attention to any information on your partner's profile when making the mask for them. If they don't like dark colors or scarey things, don't make them a gothic themed mask. If they like springtime and bright colors, make them a colorful mask full of flowers. I hope you get the idea.

Use feathers, beads, lace, fabrics, fur, glitter, ribbons, strings, etc.... Be sure to use high quality materials, nothing cheap please and don't make your mask look cheap either. This should look like something your partner could take to a ball with her and use at a masquerade.

Please do not purchase a mask for your partner. Your mask should be home made.

Make it so this mask can physically be used. You can attach elastic, ribbons, braided strings, or a decorated stick to it.

You will have about a month to gather materials, make the mask, and send out your package to your partner. You will have 1 partner each. Please put a lot of thought and time into your partner's mask. Make them something you would enjoy getting as well.
