last time i did 1 like this the recipient was not impressed with my tatted piece which was alot of work so i don't join them any more.... but have fun every 1

I received a couple of tatted items last year and just loved them. I can't tat so I was doubly impressed.

@mbhp12 That is a shame your partner didn't recognize art and labor combined! I wish I knew how to Tat!

I had to google "tatted art" I had no idea what it was, but it looks awesome, and time consuming.

I am in the process of learning tatting and it is not easy and is very time consuming as well. It is also frustrating at times also. I would have loved to receive something tatted and would have been even more anxious to display it in a very proper place that it would deserve.

wow! I can not believe someone would love a Tatted piece of work. Tatting is the one craft I can not do, and would love to. I know it is time consuming and wonderful. How sad.

I love tatting too. My grandma tried to teach it to me when I was a child. I'm a lefty and just didn't get it. What I wouldn't give to have her here now to teach me. I didn't even get any of her tatted things when she passed. My aunt took everything and sold it. This is a great swap, I'm in.

I am new to this site, but think it is so organized and fun. I have a question though.....what is a flaker? I know that is is not good by the sounds of it lol

I'm in...I'll sew up something wonderful. I also would have loved to recieve a tatted piece. My Granny taught me when I was 5 yrs old. It really is a lost art.

a flaker is someone that signs up for a swap but doesn't fulfil it. they like receiving but forget to send...lol

Yes, I understand, I made a hat for someone in a cold climate-only got a 5 and no heart,also sent extra, Postage was high since it was overseas, I probably won`t join one again

I tat, too, mbhb12, and it would be terrible to have someone disappointed in my tatting! Sorry that happened to you, as I see tatting as a real treasure. I'm joining this one in the hopes that everyone is interested in experiencing different crafts and receiving a surprise. I know I love surprises made with love!

I would love a tatted piece also! I have a necklace someone on Etsy made for me and it is one of my favourite pieces. I can see it took alot of work! I'm looking forward to swapping my crafts with someone.I think it will be fun!

Sent my parcel today...CP may be striking but not for a few days, so fingers crossed that it makes it over the border first!!!!

I got mine out last week...hopefully it misses this postal strike...I should know soon enough

Hmm... other than rating, it there any way to tell if your package arrived ok? I'm not sure if my partner received her package or not.
