Artist Trading Pins - At the Seaside Brooch

Hi guys! This is the first swap I'm hosting here, so I really hope that some of you will be interested!

Anyone who frequents the seductive pages of Etsy knows that there are thousands of really cool brooches out there, made in a wonderful variety of styles and materials -- I love them all!!!

FYI, the image I used for this swap comes from the etsy shop Dove Grey Dawn (http://www.etsy.com/shop/dovegreydawn?ref=seller_info). And yes, all of her brooches are this cute!

I think it would be really cool for those interested, to have a place to start swapping them, so my dream is to start a kind of Artist Trading Pins movement. (This is the first step!)

This swap is nautical-themed, and senders' choice. Of course, it's nice to look at your partner's profile for colour preference and allergies, but in the end, all artistic decisions are up to the sender. :)

So, you'll have 3 weeks to make your brooch, using any material, or any style that you choose -- just so long as it's nautical-themed, and something you'd be proud to send!

I'll angel anything that doesn't get through, but I hope that won't happen in this group.
