Celebrate the indie way of life - 1 partner, international, no newbies, etc etc. Make a cd of all the best indie rock songs to send your partner, and in your package also include something/things that illustrate your very own indie life. You know, like zines, useful handmade stuff, your plan to save the world... whatever you can think of that maybe veers off (or even fights) the mainstream. There's no price limit, of course, as this stuff should be mostly put together with love, not money. I probably didn't explain this too terribly well, so, if you have any questions, feel free to ask (or make up your own rules).

I tried to start something similar the other day but no one was interested so I cancelled it. I think maybe it was because I required too many CDs and other items.

I know, I had thought of this a long time ago and then I saw yours and it reminded me... but I couldn't join yours because I had no idea where I would get 5 bumper stickers!! :(

Great swap! It's going to be such a challenge to choose the best songs! Is there a certain/minimum number of songs to be on the CD?

Wow this swap has got me really excited! I've made the CD already, and collecting things to send out with it! I mean... I always get excited with swaps but this one is SO COOL!

YAY I can finally send my package!!

But don't think I'll make it to the PO until Monday earlier - still excited about this swap - oh so excited! Sending it is almost a present to myself! (is that weird?)
