Description: | |
For this swap we will be creating a matchbox with an Asian influence! So break out all those beautiful cherry blossom stamps, Geisha images, or you might want to practice making beautiful words with your Japanese Caligraphy sets. Or try a tiny brushstroke painting. For this swap, stamped images as the main focus of the matchbox are acceptable. Some of the Asian ones are very beautiful with a cut of ribbon to accent. Simplicity is key in a lot of this type of art. Just make sure it looks good, and you would like to receive it. You could go in any direction that is Asian-influenced here. It doesn't have to be old Japan, can be New Korea, or whatever you want to do that fits this theme. So much lovely art is Asian in origin. Put some Asian-theme fillers inside the box, but if you don't have anything like that, don't go shopping. You can do stamped Asian-style images, kawaii stickers. deco tape, and whatnot from Asia, etc. You don't have to go all real Asian with the contents, can also put in some other items that coordinate and look nice in your little box. Of course, no flaking, no late sends, no non-raters, no bad behavior. This is totally sender's choice. I don't want to see anyone rating down because they "hate Cherry Blossoms or thin $1 store ribbon and it says so in my profile." |
