Send your partner an oversized store-bought postcard. Postcards should be noticeably larger than standard postcards in your area. Postcards are senders' choice. @Faithygirl I believe the postage rate for oversized cards is the same as sending a regular first class letter. So stick a forever stamp on it instead of a postcard stamp.

USPS says anything over 4.25x6" is over-sized. Over-sized postcards sent from the US to addresses in the US require first-class letter postage, that is, $0.44.

I no longer send naked over-sized postcards outside the US. I learned from postcrossing that they may or may not arrive. I suppose it depends on who's had a bad day. USPS.com explicitly limits the size of international postcards to 4.25x6", but then letters can be any size. I either trim over-sized postcards to regulation size or send them in an envelope.

@manders2290 Good to know. I did not realize oversized PC might not be sent! That explains 3 of the ones I sent through PC that never arrived!
