I love inchies and I wanted to create a swap for inchie lovers that would have a really different theme each time, and that would be easy to complete and light on postage. This will be a part of an ongoing series of inchie swaps... For this swap, you will make 4 inchies for one partner. One inchie each for Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter; just the particular aspects of the seasons, and NOT holidays in that season. So, think: spring flowers and butterflies, summer beaches and picnics, fall leaves and apples, winter snowflakes and warm mittens. You can use any media that you like, but please send your best work--you may use stickers, but please use them artistically, and keep with the theme. I am requiring a 4.5 rating to be able to join this swap; please explain recent 3's before joining and no recent 1's. I do check profiles! Upcoming themes I'm thinking about are: elements, metal, embellishments, one word, etc... F.Y.I. An inchie is a miniature work of art. An inchie measures exactly one inch square and is made of a sturdy paper backing, or it can be made of fabric. Inchies are decorated with a variety of media, including paint, paper, drawing, collage, mixed media, rubber stamps, sewing, etc. If you think that inchies are too small to make creatively, you are wrong! There are many itty bitty things on the market that are perfect for making inchies: scrapbooking paper with small prints, thin ribbon, tiny brads, little rubber stamps, stick-on rhinestones, etc. They are totally addicting once you start! P.S...This swap is an Type 3 because there is a craft element... |
