Description:

I found a similar swap but due to me trying to raise my rating and I know there are others out there in the same boat, I'm creating my own. Sometimes life interferes and we need to redeem ourselves, right? The swap I found had a rating requirement of 4.5. I'm just not there yet. This is great for NEWBIES TOO!

So..if you're anything like me you've got stacks of all different kinds of magazines laying around and you just don't know what to do with them. You'll have 2 partners and you'll send them each 20 squares cut from magazines. This could be a word, phrase, face, eye, logo, anything you think the receiver may enjoy or use in the future on postcards, collages, etc. SENDERS CHOICE - but if possible try to send items related to your partners profile.

I will angel if I need to

These are easily cut with 1" square punches

What size squares?

What fun!
BTW magazines with thicker paper work best for making a collage. For example, National Geographic has thick pages (why the photos look so good) and produce great results in paper crafting. People magazine is printed on thinner paper and images cut from its pages tend to wrinkle and smear when glued down. Same is true when asking kids to construct collages from old magazines :-).

@ladydy5 - they are 1" :)

Okay, this swap has changed how I look at all the paper in our home. A glossy travel brochure arrived in the mail today and it has lots of great tiny images. Now it's time to go through the paper recycling bin as well as the stacks of magazines all over the house.

@manders - YAY!! If this one goes has a good response, I think I may do some of these in the future, themes maybe :) Thanks for joining!
