A Rose For Norway ATC EDITED!

What a wonderful thing to do.

It is heartbreaking to hear every day about what your country is dealing with. I would love to send you another 1 or 2 Rose ATCs to give to someone there who would be cheered up by it. Would you mind posting your address in the swap so we can send you extras?

Thank you so much for wanting to be part of this! One of my closest friends had her daughter at Utoya, hearing her story from what she experienced out there is so heartbreaking there are no words. But like the rest of Norway, also she is getting through this, fighting hate with love. If we send you enough extras would you be able to get them to the families for us? I don't know how big the town is, but it would be nice if the families who suffered a loss could rach have one of our roses.

I've been crying for 8 days, crying for all the wonderfull children who was ripped away from us, crying for all the families who lost their loved ones, I've even cried for the lost soul of the man who in his insanety did this. @http //www.swap-bot.com/user:Aussiemate, I was in that boat when I made my first one so I looked up on the internet how to make them. So if you feel confident after looking it up don't be afraid to give it a go. ATC's are the crafters on unique work of art.

My BF and my daughter each made two to send, along with my two "extras", so there's six more!

Aussiemate, if you feel up to it, I'm sure they are not expecting professional work, if there is such a thing. My own ATCs are at a sophomore level at best. It's the meaning and love behind the cards that matters most.

@Aussiemate , I'm a fellow Aussie who has never made an ATC before. I am making my first ATCs for this swap, because wild horses couldn't drag me away from sending some extras to Norway. (I'm planning to make 10 extras....) Don't let the brumbies stop you either! Empathy and heart are so much more valuable than 'talent' or skill, so have a go. :)

I have made several ATC cards for Renate but I am having trouble with her address. Is her last name Harligen and for the second line of the address is it Kapellvien 53 N-1555 and is the name of the town Son?????

@RenVonH I amso sorry for the tragedy your country is undergoing right now. I have made three extra Rose's I will send directly to you. I do hope all the Roses helps restore some beauty in these family's lives.

@RenVonH I actually have made four ATC's in all. The fourth one I felt appropriate to all of this. It is a Dove flying through the clouds holding a Rose that it is taking to Norway. The Dove is the Universal sign of Peace. I hope everyone will like what I have done and it brings peace to them as well.

Hi Renate; I just wanted you to know that I mailed my cards today. When I was making them I was thinking of how wonderful you are for doing this swap. How you are a very caring person. So in the envelope with the cards I made, I have included an ATC card for you to keep for yourself. I wanted to show how much I (all of us) really appreciate what you are doing and allowing us to be a part of it. Also I have included a card made by my grand -daughter who has also written a short note to the family who will get her card and she asked me if it was okay, and would the be able to get the note. I told her I would ask you.
