A friendhsip book is a little "book" (just a bunch of pieces of paper stapled together on the top left corner, approximately postcard size [but can be smaller or bigger], sometimes with a nice picture/graphic as the 'front cover' [it usually has no back cover]) that is made by someone (either for themselves or for one of their penpals) and then passed on to one of their penpals (but not the person you're making it for if you make it for someone other then yourself), after they put their address & what they love on a page, they send it to one of their penpals who does the same.. and so on until the last page is filled. At this point the last person to sign the frienship book sends it to the person who it was made for. The purpose of a Friendship Book is basically to help you find new & interesting people to write to (become your penpal). Hope that explained it well! Hehe! :D
