Description:

I so love opening my mailbox and finding art inside, instead of just bills and sales adds.

For this swap, you will send to one partner. Your Mail Art Should be at least a business sized envelope with a Halloween theme. It can be any medium or style of mail art you like and if you want to use a larger envelope or even an unusual container, like a candy box, feel free but be creative! Go ahead and start on your envelope as soon as you sign up since we are all doing the same theme. You can look at your partners profile to decide what to put inside....stickers, paper or trim, maybe a little Halloween treat? But remember, it's mostly about whats on the outside, so rate accordingly.

Please include your name and the name of the swap. Newbies welcome! I will angel if need be.

LOVE this Art work (pictured above). Is it an ATC?

I think it's a greeting card. I had it saved on my computer from somewhere....I love it too. It would be really cool to replicate on an envelope with magazine clippings :)

Do both sides need to be covered?

Usually mail art is all over the envelope or post-card. It should be more effort that slapping a couple of stickers on a white envelope but It doesn't have to be totally covered. For example, if you were to use a book page to make the envelope you might want to leave some of the actual page showing for interest. You can Google images of "Mail art" and see some great examples. Part of the fun is that there is no wrong or right way to do it. Just be creative!
