I just started trading, so I keep my ATCs in the collector sleeves that kids use when they collect hockey cards. Not too creative, I'm afraid. I'm a teacher and I'm planning on introducing my collection to my students soon and trying to get them "into" it, too. I've got a clothesline set up in my classroom with little clothespins where we can hang up trade-able cards. Make a card ... take a card.

I found a frame designed for baseball cards that holds 20 cards. Have it hanging in my craft room. Its easy to change cards so I rotate my current favs.

randycramerart 09/ 2/2011 #

I keep them in a big shoebox for now, but eventually I want to make a big collage of them on my wall, like in a frame. I think it'll be really neat :)

BeckyG56 09/ 2/2011 #

I put mine in baseball card sleeves, inside a 3 ring binder. they sell small easels small enough to hold ATCs,some of the ones I've received are pretty enough to view for all to see.

mermaidery 09/ 2/2011 #

I have mine in baseball card sleeves like some of the others, but I plan, when I get enough, to cut them apart and border the top of the room with ATCs.

i have the same system as beckyG56. this way i can take it with me to different groups i belong to. i have also sectioned my notebook off into catagories ....halloween. valentines, christmas, zentangles..etc. easy to get to them that way.

I frame mine in 12" scrapbook page 3 dimensinal frames with postacrds, old tickets, charms, tokens and just make a mixed media piece of art. The are soo interesting and each one is unique.

I have way over 500 cards and organize them in binders by themes...also have a few huge glass jars where I filled with the ATC's and have displayed in my living room...

i use mine in a lot of ways i use them in my scrapbooks and mini albums as embellishments i just tie them to the page with a bit of ribbon so you can still see the back info, also i found this frame that i think is meant to hold school photos that holds them great and i plan to swap them out with holidays n themes.

Great question-I buy loads and they're just sitting in a drawer !!I hope to frame them but it's going to be expensive 'cos I want to buy individual frames-then I wonder will they be seen as they are so small. So really what I'm tring to say is -I don't know what to do !!!

Lucky12324 09/ 4/2011 #

Right now I also have mine in a binder, however I keep mine in chronological order.

I keep mine in trading card binders. They will stay there until I have a house of my own. Then I will display them up on the wall.

BambooPanda13 09/ 6/2011 #

I put mine in trading card sleeves and those sleeves in a 3 inch binder. I have two awesome 3d ATCs I've received that are in frames on my wall. I also have a really awesome Alice in Wonderland series/set in a frame on my wall!

J0cola 09/ 6/2011 #

I use them as inspiration for my journal! If not, I pass them on to some one else in hopes they might inspire them! Pass the love!

vagabondindigo 09/ 7/2011 #

I just started making and collecting them. I am thinking to store a collection that investing in binders with baseball style card sleeves is most practical. In the future I can definitely see making a collage of many however, and incorporating them randomly in mixed media paintings. For now however, I am enjoying the process, trying different techniques and the simple joy of trading them.

I put mine up on one of my walls. So i can look at them often.

I have some in cigar boxes sorted by "trade online", "keep" etc. 12 I made are on exhibit right now. A few worked there way into art journals. One I got in trade on Swap-bot came with magnets attached so it is on my fridge. A cool thing I did with some of the ones I received that I want to keep - I put them in a small book (about 4X5) - one per page. Another time I altered a small board book and made backgrounds in it with collage to match each ATC then attached the ATCs into the book. This is favorite way to keep ones I know I won't want to trade. I intend to make more books for the ATCs, just gonna get back around to it! :-)

I keep mine in trading card sleeves in binders. I arrange them in chronological order. I've got 11 binders full and working on # 12. I have the dates on the outside of the binders and a table of contents (or swaps) at the beginning of each. Right now, they are in a bookcase along with my quilt books and patterns.

I store my ATC's in a variety of ways. I have the old Stampin' Up! Binders that have some flat, 2-D ATC's. I display some clipped to a wire as a banner in my studio. I use the carousel from 7 Gypsies to hold my 3-D ATC's (the ones that fold and have layers and layers with embellishments dangling and hanging over the sides, etc) and I have the 7 Gypsies library drawer where I stack interesting ATC's. It's fun to flip through them. I use 3 x 4 ziplocs to send my ATC's. If the ATC's you collect fit in a sleeve, it should be mentioned in your profile, cause most of mine will not fit at all! I like layers and dimension and texture. :-)

I have mine in binders with 9 on a page. I almost have 1 binder full now :)

FickityTwists 09/ 9/2011 #

I make a scrapbook out of mine, and display them in frames on my walls!

deecraft 09/10/2011 #

I have all of my ATC's resting in plastic 9 per page binder sleeves, I have collected almost 200 since I joined Swap-bot, and I find this method works for me. I can show them off and they are still protected from fingers. However, I still put my newest and favourites on my desk to look at and be inspired, for a couple of weeks.

Girlfiddler 09/10/2011 #

Uhh. I just started trading and am still pondering this question. Since I originally was just going to trade the Zentangle Alphabet, I wanted to string a clothesline in my art room and hang them with clothespins. Now I see that more storage is needed....

karry 09/12/2011 #

Mine are currently in a 3-ring binder with the baseball card holders that hold 9 cards per page. Not very inventive.

I am an art teacher. I introduced my school to ATC about 4 year ago and now have an epidemic on my hands. It's wonderful! I display all the cards for swap on the wall in a display designed for classrooms as a "word wall". It is a canvas "bus" that has rows of clear plastic sew to it. The long sleeves of clear plastic are intended to put index cards or word strips, but are also perfect for rows of ATCs! If there are any teachers wanting inter-school swaps, check out "Classroom ATC" group.

I use mine as seasonal and themed decorations on my memo board which I change out every month. I have also used them to make quick and easy cards and I've thrown magnets on them and given them to friends for their fridges! :)

MelyndaBeth 09/16/2011 #

Right now I have a folder with card sleeves in it. I just started ATC's so I don't have a whole lot. I want to eventually get little easels to display my favorites on.

jhayton2011 09/28/2011 #

I am like most of you. I have mine in a nine to a page binder. I have two binders, the second which is almost full and ready to start a third. I like to sit and flip through like a photo album and reminisce about all my ATC's.
