Hi! My name is Sara. I am a 34 year-old woman and proud mom of 3 little kids (range 5 years to 1 year).

I have a degree in Microbiology and I am currently a stay-at-home mom and a creative business owner and consutant.

I love the countryside and the beach and I am lucky enough to live in a city that is between the two!

I enjoy crafting, sewing, cooking, decorating my home, spend time with my kids and with my husband, read (although I am finding it difficult to find the time to do all the reading I want). Oh, and I am Pinterest-addicted! (:

About my username: Miau is the portuguese word for meow.

I love crafting, specially with fabric, felt, buttons, ribbons, lace, trims.

I love to sew! I do softies, baby items, bags, cases, pouches, clutches, pillows, aprons, placemats, mug rugs. In the last year I started to learn how to sew clothing and I am now sewing my own clothing! I am also learning patchwork and quiliting - it is addicting!

I love to do handmade items for my home's decor, such as wall art, pillows, candle holders, napkin rings, placemats, garlands, etc.

I also do brooches, jewelry (mainly earrings for my personal use), fridge magnets, notebooks, cross-stitch and a bit of embroidery.

I also enjoy ocasionaly paper crafting, like scrapbooking and cardmaking.

On my wishlist: learning how to crochet and to knit!

Sewing: fabrics (cotton and/or linen FQ) , felt, buttons, ribbons, lace, trims, sewing notions, threads, sequins, beads, charms, zippers, etc.

Paper crafts: sheets of paper/cardstock buttons, charms, chipboards, brads, embellishments, rubber or clear stamps (all these materials are really difficult to find in my Country).

♥ Colours: Red, pink, blue, green, brown.

♥ Polka dots, cupcakes, kawaii, fruit (strawberries, cherries, apples, watermellon), tea cups, mushrooms, squirrels, owls, sewing items, buttons.

♥ Anything handmade is appreciated! Especially softies, bags, pouches, brooches, notebooks.

♥ Vintage items! Anything will be greatly appreciated. Sewing patterns, fabric, ribbons/trim, buttons, Legos, aprons, kitchen items, cookie cutters, small vases, tea cups, children books, small wodden boxes or small tin boxes.

♥ Japanese Zakka style and Scandinavian style.

♥ Craft Magazines (especially from USA, UK and Japanese, I really like them but can't find them here).

♥ Stuff for home decoration and *kitchen**: Wreaths, button trees, ornaments, window and wall hangings, mobiles, boxes, tins, kitchen stuff, aprons, cookie cutters.

♥ Food & Flavours: * Tea (any kind), cappuccino (love it!), coffee - all hot drinks! * Chocolate, brownies and cookies. * Cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, strawberry and citrus flavours. * Pizza and pasta. Italian, asian and indian food. * Herbs and spices - I love to cook! * I collect mugs, tea cups, tea pots, anything TEA related.

♥ Children's books (any size, any age, any language, especially old/vintage ones).

I really would appreciate if I don't receive items that are/have:

☹ Spoiled, rusty, or trash... (I don't mind to receive items from your own craft stash, I mean, if you want to send me your destash I will be happy (:, but please make sure they are in good condition).

☹ Neon/ fluorescent colours.

☹ Clowns, cowboys, fairy, Gothic, skulls, pirates, dragons, unicorns, bats, ghosts, sports, astrology items, egyptian.

☹ Cocconut, marzipan, liquor/licorice.
