I have so many interests that it's difficult to settle on any one thing; so I do them all!

I love to sew, quilt, crochet, cross-stitch, draw, paint, collage, and paper-craft. More recently, I've been combining these crafts to make mixed media art, altered art, and up-cycled art.

I love to create and have several projects going on at once. My favorite time of year is Autumn and Winter when I can stay indoors working on projects and drinking warm tea!

Books: I love the Classics, but also enjoy new literary novels.

Languages: I was born in the Azores, so Portuguese is my native language. I began formal training in English at the age of 10 and am fluent. I also speak Spanish fluently, and I'm now studying German and Italian.

Movies: My favorite genres are Historical, Epic, Drama, Documentary, and Musicals. I enjoy films that teach me something about another country, culture, time, social situation or cause.

Music: I enjoy music of all kinds, but my favorite is Latin, Jazz, Blues, and Classical. I love the sound of a violin, cello, or harmonica.

Tea: I love black tea... Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Masala. I also like flavored teas... Chamomile, Orange Spice. I'm always willing to try a new tea.

Colors My favorite colors are those found in nature; brown, beige, soft blues and greens. Think earth, sky, and foliage.

I'm not too difficult to please, but there are a few things I don't like.

• Green Tea

• Anything Peppermint or Licorice flavored

• Glitter (the kind that gets all over the place) Sparkle is ok

• Anything that smells like cigarette smoke

Flaking is essentially stealing. Not rating is impolite. Angeling is a way of paying it forward.
