Hi! My name is Amie, I’m from the UK, and I’ve finally decided to start penpalling after nearly a year of wistfully watching opening videos on youtube.

There are probably no aesthetics I dislike - my personal preference for what I love to create is a vintage aesthetic, but I always love to try out new things.

A few things about me - I’m a software engineer, a cat lover, and a big nerd (I won’t say Star Trek is better than Star Wars because I’m here to make friends, even if it technically is true). I’ve always had a love for mail and long letters, and I’m super excited to meet people who feel the same.

Tell me about your favourite songs, movies, books, etc. :)

My passion for craft lies first and foremost in journaling and bookbinding. If the swap permits it, don’t be surprised to find a mini junk journal/notebook thrown in with the rest of the items :)

I absolutely adore ephemera of all kinds - tickets, postcards, book pages, receipts, trading cards, little bits of board games, tags, postage stamps, envelopes, that kind of thing - vintage or new :)

I’m a little bit of a hoarder when it comes to washi tapes - my collection is growing rapidly and they are all looking for new homes so let me know if you want to do a washi sample swap!

I send via Royal Mail, which has a delivery aim of 3-7 working days, depending on where you are (3-5 working days in Europe, and 6-7 working days anywhere else). It can be a little slower sometimes, so if you don’t receive anything a month after the deadline, please get in touch and I’ll be more than happy to resend.
