About Me

I am a 28 year old nurse, I was born and raised in a seamstress' house so crafting is in my blood! There is nothing better than curling up with a cup of tea and your newest project on a cold winter day (like today! -40 with the windchill, eek!!) I have heard about swapping before and I came across this website by accident last night so I figured I would give it a try! It sounds like a lot of fun!! I sell Mary Kay cosmetics out of my home in my spare time, I love love love it as I get paid for having fun and doing something that makes me feel good! You can see my facebook page above :). And speaking of which, I love pink, anything pink! I love glitter and sparkle and anything soft and cozy. I am your typical girl! Oh and cupcakes. Who doesn't love cupcakes? Other than that, I have an amazing boyfriend who I wouldn't trade for the world (he lets me spread my craft supplies all over the house even though I have an office/craft room!) and we are loved by 3 fur babies and 40 fish babies!! I am truly blessed!

Favorite Music

My favorite music would have to be country and pop, I like happy and uplifting :), and I am a sucker for a sad country love song lol.

Favorite Books

I love love love british chick lit, it is so funny and uplifting, always makes you feel better after just a few pages! And on a complete opsite note, I love psychological suspense, I love a book that keeps me on the edge of my seat!

Favorite Crafts

I love fabric and yarn crafts. I can't seem to get enough of either so that makes for many projects on the go or in queue! I also like the odd beading project or paper craft. I'd like to one day get into foral crafts too :).

Response: That is so cool!! I don't use Avon cosmetics but I love pretty much everything else Avon! Particularly the jewelry and seasonal decor, and a lot of the clothing as well! :D. You'll have to let me know what you think of the eye shadows!!

Response: We have a huge bulk store here that sells it. It's called bulk barn, but grocery stores should sell it too :).
