I am 31. I am a Horticulturist and own a perennial nursery with my husband. I raise 100+ goats. I love animals. I have 5 dogs (2 Australian Cattle Dogs, 1 Great Pyrenees and 2 Maremma/Akbash crosses, 4 cats (3 domestic long haired) and 1 Siamese, 1 llama and again --- lots of goats! I am so practical that sometimes it stunts me! things have to be useable for me to buy, make or enjoy them. I love to journal and write. I love being with my friends, planning events and dancing where ever I am (but not in public - just in my office chair, my car or in random places!). I like to consider myself an optimist and full of energy - some days however - that is not always the case :) I don't watch TV because we can't get cable so I always have projects to keep me busy - which I love. I love to bake with my buddy Z. I love to work outside and gardening is my happy place where I am reminded that all is not lost and that the world is really a perfect place.
I love containers above all things. My favorite stores are the Container Store and Paper Source. I love things that I can use to make other things and things in which I can store them! I love old and used things. I live in a house that was built in 1854 with original log walls.
Billy Joel, Indigo Girls, Travis, Folky stuff Garden State Soundtrack, Grey's anatomy soundtrack, Leo Kotke, anything that makes me want to move!!
Wizard of Oz, Chocolat,Whale Rider, About a Boy, Love Actually, The Gladiator, Can't Buy Me Love
Via DVD (don't have cable) I watch: Grey's, Lost, Prison Break, 24!
Paper crafts, card making, things that are purple/green/blue, Noro yarn, knitting and crocheting, fabric and sewing, book making, anything that involves music, making things homemade that are useful and practical, cheese and bread making are on my list for 2008, canning food, planning gardens with books, journals and pictures!
