★About Me★

Hello, I'm Claire, a California girl, born and raised. I'm from San Jose, however, I currently live in San Diego after graduating from SDSU.

I live with my loving boyfriend right across from the beach & we love walking along the bay in the evening.

Since I am new to this community I welcome constructive criticism and helpful suggestions! If I make any mistakes or do anything to offend you it will never ever be on purpose, please feel free to contact me. (Edit: I joined in 2019 but have been inactive for a while so I feel this is still relevant.)

★Favorites★

I like a lot of things so typing it into words is quite a struggle for me! I love food: mac n cheese, pizookies, Doritos, taco bell, Canes, piroshki's (you can look it up😉), and practically anything with cheese on it.

Although I am a city girl I do love visiting nature on camping trips (especially national parks), flowers, and succulents...especially cacti, aloe, and other desert plants. I recently got my first tattoo and it is a flower bouquet of mine & my sisters birth flowers as well as a California poppy :) I love sloths, cats, dogs, and animals in general. There is not an animal I do not love. I am not afraid of bugs.

My favorite color is pink because I think it is pretty but I don’t have many pink things. My room/apt is decorated very eclectic as the both of us have combined our interests and styles into one place, haha.

I also love to DIY whatever I can and have picked up anything from macrame to building a bed out of IKEA shelves. I used to paint/sew/knit/crochet/etc. a lot more when I was younger but im learning more creative adult outlets now. I LOVE adult coloring books.

I bullet journal when I have the time, and I love how I can incorporate art into it. I collect pens/highlighters/stationary for my bullet journal and also for personal projects.

I watch a lot of youtube but I am especially into true crime and mystery. This includes unsolved cases, conspiracy theories, missing persons, ghosts, and other creepy/interesting stuff. I love horror movies (But I prefer thriller and suspense to gore) & I like macabre themes. Loved all the conjuring universe movies, Insidious universe, and Oculus is one of my all time favorites.

I collect pressed pennies, rocks/minerals, coins, stickers, stationery stuff, and letters. I always felt like I collected journals as well because of how often I bought them and how little I used them, haha.

★Artist Trading Cards★

I just recently started making ATC's. I have been crafting/painting my whole life and I cant believe I didn't know these existed! I love the idea of putting an artistic vision into one tiny little space.

I have only really experimented with collage and painting so far but as I make more I am excited to branch out :)

★Passions★

1. Something I am very passionate about is Dance Marathon! It's a movement that raises funds and awareness for more than 170 pediatric hospitals across North America. I participate in it on my college campus and you can read more here. #ForTheKids
2. Secondly, I believe in sexual violence awareness and I am an active member of an organization on my campus called SISSTER (sororities invested in survivor support, training, and ending rape culture).
3. Lastly, I am passionate about my major. I love learning about language and I am excited to practice in the field of speech therapy. If you are a speech pathologist I would LOVE to talk about it.

★Dislikes★

There is nothing that I HATE, and even if I'm not a fan I will appreciate your thought and hard work. However, I'm not into religious works, anime, zombies, neon, country/cowboy, or guns/shooting.
