Huge music fan and pretty well rounded with my taste everything from rock, indy, rap, classical, Motown and country. I don't limit myself to genres, if I like it I like it!

To my husbands great dismay, I am one of those reality tv show watchers ;) I like Survivor, Project Runway, Food Network Challenge, most all competition cooking shows, Lost, Greys Anatomy, Big Love and The Office are all favorites.

I love to read, always have, I still remember spending all of my birthday money when I turned 8 on the complete Babysitters Club and Sweet Valley Twins series :) I read a lot of fiction novels, but not romance, just don't like that style at all! I love historical fiction (Clan of the Cave Bear, The Pillars of the Earth, The Other Boleyn Girl) I love books that make me laugh and I have enjoyed quite a few memoirs and autobiographies. A good book, a cozy spot and a big mug of coffee sound like heaven to me :)

I love to craft I also love the pastry arts. I really enjoy things that combine the two, gift baskets filled with fresh baked bread & home made jam along with a hand crafted card or just a card that has a 3-D cupcake on it ;) I do some large scale cake and cookie decorating but I have a special love for paper crafts. I like getting inspiring new ideas and can't wait to get to my kitchen or craft room to try them out for myself :)

I am a wife and mother, I work full time. I have a wonderful group of friends and neighbors who along with my family keep me very busy. I have been scrapbooking and making homemade gifts for years, but life took over and most things were packed away out of sight.Last year I bought a Cricut Expression after watching the infomercial mostly so I could make cake and cookie stencils, but shortly threafter I was introduced to some amazing crafting blogs. The rest is history, I have a renewed desire to create and craft! I have all of the tools and thanks to some incredible bloggers and message boards, my fire stays stoked and my craft room is my happy space now :)
