I have seven (yes SEVEN!) wonderful children and am a corsetier by trade, and LOVE crafting with textiles (crochet, knitting, tatting, sewing and anything yarn/fabric related!!!) I am vegan and Pagan (Celtic/druidic leanings), and am a vocal activist for animals, the environment and social issues as well as for transgender rights :)

Just about anything except rap/r&b or country...I LOVE alternative music, Celtic stuff and traditional Gaelic music (particularly Scottish mouth music). But I will listen to anything at least once. I am also a classically trained pianist and almost became a music teacher :)

Anything meaty! Tennyson, Tim Winton, Caiseal Mor, Tolkien, Clive Barker....too many to list really, but I adore good poetry, horror, sci-fi, fantasy and humour ;) I also like to read antique medical texts and occult literature, and non-fiction books about corsets and Victorian clothing, knitting, and anything relating to history and Druidic/Pagan stuff.

Knitting, crochet (especially amigurumi and recreating antique/vintage patterns), tatting, sewing, patchwork/quilting, making corsets and Victorian clothing from original antique patterns.

I am not a particularly fussy person - my list of likes includes: sunflowers, pansies, anything Victorian or Gothic, black, purple, green, silver, garnet (both the stone and the colour), cats, chickens, animal-free stuff, plant fibers (bamboo and cotton especially), anything music-related, Celtic knotwork and art, frogs, Hello Kitty, clever knitting accessories and handmade items :)

Dislikes: really not that many - icky novelty yarns, anything that exploits animals and prejudiced/intolerant people is about it! :)
