Well this is something I never get used to, writing an intro. I been writing similar for over a year while writing to companies regarding jobs. Granted this is different and going to be more fun as its about me and my interests not what I can bring to a role lol

My name is Laura and I will be 30 in a few months time, not looking forward to that. I was happy in my 20s and I hear your 30s you have to act like a grown up haha

I am engaged to the love of my life, we have been together for almost 8 years and he popped the question June 2012. We plan on getting married in May 2014 but we are also trying for a baby so that date may change depending if we are successful with the baby.

I was born and raised in Sunderland and always lived in the northeast of England. When I went to Uni I lived in Leeds and also did a year abroad in the US at Andrews University. I loved it in the US and was sad to come back home.

I was employed until June 2011 when i was made redundant, that's when I found my hobby of arts and crafts.

I have one dog called Bella she is a Miniature Schnauzer 3 years old and my little baby.

As you can tell from my name I love Dexter, its my favourite tv show and I watch them all the time. Its something I never get bored with.

I also like the following: Smallville, Friends, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Haven, Grimm, Supernatural.

Favourite crafts at the moment are scrapbooking, making bookmarks, artist trading cards, greetings cards, art journals and painting. I also love to write but thats rather a hobby than a craft. Same with photography, I love taking photos and I have my camera with me always.

My favourite colour is Black and Red

My favourite chocolate is Cadburys Dairymilk, I do not like any chocolate with things in. Like caramel, nuts, flavouring etc

My favourite singer is Pink

Favourite movie is Lord of the rings/Harry Potters, I like movies that are a series/trilogy type of films.

Favourite food is Sweet and Sour chicken

Favourite drink is Bailies

Favourite website is gumtree (I have gotten so many bargains from there)

Favourite season is Autumn

Favourite things to recieve in post is scraps of papers, bits and bobs I can use in journals, paintings, trading cards etc

Im not big on stickers unless they are unusual

I collect postcards but i rarely send them although since joining this site I see there is lots of postcard swaps so I may join some.

I buy and sell items on facebook and I have a forsale/swapping page

I love shoes

I hate bright bright colours

I don't like any fiddly things that are to small. I have arthritis in my hands and cannot handle anything to small.

I don't like anything with animals on them, I do like animals but I don't use them in any of my arty bits.
