I love painting whimsical girls, cityscapes, moons, dots, mermaids, Tim Burton characters, landscapes, trees, animals, abstract patterns and shapes.
I love the color combination of neon pink and mint green. Also black and gold.
I tend to paint lots of layers and use multiple medias. I use mostly acrylic paint, but lately have incorporated colored pencils, watercolors, oil pastels, markers, and gouache.
I find collage art a bit intimidating but still collect magazine images, photographs, postcards, grocery lists, letters, ticket stubs, etc.
I love making paper out of linen and plants.

I became a member and signed up for a swap for the first time about a year ago. I was admitted to the hospital shortly after signing up and remained hospitalized past the swap's due date.
Unfortunately, I ended up receiving a "1" from my partners. Rightfully so, as I did not to complete the swap and did not communicate with my partners. I was so overwhelmed due to my illness, I chose to shut down and ignore responsibilities (FYI: Not the best way to handle your struggles).
I just recently (about a week ago) came back to swap-bot with a desire to resolve this uncompleted swap.
If I'm able to achieve this, I would love to become an active, responsible, and reliable member of swap-bot.

I am currently being hospitalized. I have had three surgeries in one week. Therefore, my moments of clarity have been rare since admission. I did not anticipate the intrusiveness of these surgeries. Therefore, my pain level is pretty extreme and has greatly reduced my range of movement.
I have not forgotten about my swaps nor my swap partners. Any patience and or understanding is so very meaningful to me. Thank you to those who have already expressed this. It provides relief which so important to me during these times and their healing processes.
