I'm obsessed with books...I'm a total lit-geek I have a penchant for tea and coffee I'm at my happiest with a good book and a cup of coffee in a cafe, plugged into my iPod :) I love photography, social commentary, poetry and comic books.

I guess in a way I'm a writer, and if you'd like to have a read of some of my stuff, all you have to do is ask. I may be a little shy at first, since a lot of my projects are things that I started for A-Level English and didn't do so well with, so I've been kind of endeavouring to keep up with them ever since.

I guess I see myself as kind of a social commentator, in the sense that I will look around me, and try to put myself into someone else's shoes. I mean, of course I can be egocentric sometimes, but so can we all. I collect quotes and song lyrics that make me smile in a pretty fabric notebook. I'm not set in my ways, but I certainly have my own views on things. I'm not sure if I believe in God, as such, but I definitely believe that there has to be more to life than just what we see, and I think a lot of this is down to personal perception and opinion, and whatever you think, that's alright with me.

One of my favourite things to do is to go to a coffee house and order a latte, sit with an anthology of beautiful poetry and just watch the world go by whilst listening to some music. I find R.E.M. to be good for atmospheric, calm music, and Emilie Autumn's instrumental work, especially her work with classic Violin and Harpsichord is strangely soothing. I like to just watch people, and wonder what's going on in their heads. If they're who they portray themselves as. Who knows? I guess I just like quiet contemplation.

I like writing and sending postcards, I collect vintage postcards. I prefer snail mail, generally, I feel like it's a lot more personal than emails, but emails are alright too :)

Also, I have a great boyfriend, Piers! So yes, I thought that was relevant ^^
