Hi :)
My name is Jasmine (Jas) and I'm a Kiwi. I live in Taupo, which is in the middle of the North Island of New Zealand, surrounded by mountains (well, volcanoes really...) and next to a perfect, clean, blue lake.
I work in a little dairy, which is across the road from my house and I've been there for over 4 years now, I can't remember what it was like not to work there. I should be in my second year of uni right now but I decided to give it a skip until I know what I wanna do with my life even though it meant turning down a scholarship.
I love sewing, buttons, collecting fat quarters, knitting, cross stitch and reading sewing blogs. I'm also addicted to reading. I will read nearly anything and just enjoy being curled up with a good book and a hot drink. I have been reading about swaps for ages but have only just found out how to take part, I cannot wait to start joining in!
I love bright bold patterns, especially in green red and aqua.
For some reason I'm drawn to anything covered in owls or cupcakes. Or anything to do with Harry Potter... Posters, Toys, Stickers... Anything...
I've just started getting into stamping, scrapbooking and letter writing so any stationary/paper sets would be much appreciated. It's so exciting to get a cute envelope or package in the mail.
I love to receive photos or hand drawn pictures for my pin board (they will go on there no matter how good or bad they are, I love them all)
I'm not really into Hello Kitty, and please don't send me nail polish if possible because although I love it I bite my nails terribly so they don't look good painted...
Please don't send any loose tea, or tea with flowers as New Zealand won't let it into the counrty (clean, green NZ and all that)
I've started a blog but I won't add it on here until there is something interesting to read on it!
I love that these swaps spread a little piece of happiness and let you embrace your creativity.
Oh where to start? Anything by Stephen King, J.K Rowling, Paullina Simons, Katie Fford, Jill Mansell, or James Patterson. I also enjoy most chick-lit novels, so easy to just sit down and devour in one afternoon.
Cross-stitching and sewing bags are what I do best. Does standing in the craft store staring at the pretty fabrics count? I'm learning to knit at the moment but I don't think my scarf will be finished until

i will be hosting my third postcard/bookmark swap shortly if you are interested let me know
Whoops "hamed" was meant to be harmed. Fat fingers.
Not kidding, the Indian was in the front room for yonks until the workshop was built, should I mention the two car garage and seperate workshop plus motorbike shed? As for tucking any of the bikes into bed, yes, there is more than one, all older than I am, and that is pretty old, no room as the 6 cats take up the sheets. The good thing about the earthquake down here was no motorbikes were hamed in making that mess. Phew.
Personally I prefer a roof over my head while driving, I have enough bad hair days.
Cheers Kay
I randomly came across your page. What a beautiful place you live in. I visited there last year and spent 2 weeks there. Amazingly stunning place.
By the way what is a fat quarter?
Got your tag today :) Thanks so much for the K bars.
