About Me

I am 31 and live in Madison, WI but am originally from the Chicago, IL area. I live with my fiance, dog, and 2 cats. I am getting married in Sept. of this year (2011) so for the time being I always like wedding related stuff (magazines, scrapbooking stuff, ideas, etc)!

Favorite Music/Movies/Books

I love music, movies, and reading and am very ecclectic when it comes to all three.

Favorite Television

I hate to admit it but I love tv! Reality tv is what I watch the most of, such as Celebrity Apprentice, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, The Amazing Race, America's Got Talent, Top Chef, Hell's Kitchen, Bad Girls Club...I also like American Pickers, Storage Wars, Ghost Whiperer...the list goes on and on. I also love game shows!

Likes

I love to travel, scrapbook, read, run, play sports, ride my bike, go camping, spend time with family and play board games. I love watching reality tv shows, watching movies, and love anything to do with Hello Kitty (other kawaii stuff if cool as well). I like things having to do with cupcakes and I enjoy drinking wine. I like art and photography, collect postcards from around the world, collect squished pennies, and love cool/different stamps. I LOVE LOVE LOVE buttons (pins, not sewing buttons). I love trying new things and going new places! I like all colors but have a soft spot for pink/brown and pink/gray and pink/black combos. I am a wanna be hippie so I am drawn to bright colors, stripes and polk-a-dots, and vintage looking things. I like gummy candy (starburst gummys with the juice in the middle is my latest obsession) and chocolate with carmel or toffee. I love turtles (the candy), mint meltaways, ferrero rocher dark chocolates, Symphony candy bars, Rolos, Reisens, Snickers with Almonds, etc. I like beef jerky (especially teriyaki flavored) and cashews and almonds! I always like comfy things like socks (I have big feet, womens size 11) and mittens and bath stuff is nice as well. I have a weakness for cute headbands too! Handmade stuff is totally cool!

Dislikes

Not a big fan of disney items (especially winnie the pooh).... I do not like lemon, green apple, coffee/mocha, or cinnamon scented or flavored things....Chocolate with fruit in it, yuck...I don't like peppermint candy (it is ok for foot scrubs, chapstick, stuff like that - just not candy)...Ribbons (never know what to do with it)... Anything with a cats or dogs on it... I don't drink tea (gave it a try and never found any flavors that I liked)..... I am allergic to earrings so cheap earrings are not wanted (other plastic/cheap jewelry is cool). I am pretty easy to please so as long as you put some thought in to it and don't flake, I will be a great swap partner!

Comment: While I am not owed anything (because in this swap you send me YOUR postcard that I am then supposed to return to you), I am still going to rate a 1 for the moment to alert possible future swap hosts/partners that this swap has not been fulfilled. I sincerely hope that if your other partners sent you their postcards, you returned them.

Comment: I think you read my mind......I have that book, but have yet to read it. I used to job coach for a non-profit that (among other operations) rand multiple thrift stores, so I bought soooooo many books at that job.

While I cannot rate you a "1" because I was the sender, not the receiver, I feel obligated to let other swappers know that you flaked on me for the P.S. Write Back Postcards #11 swap. I sent you my PC to be returned, plus an extra, and then several private messages and emails, and never received ANY type of response. This is my first experience being flaked on and it makes me sad. If you ever do return to Swap-bot and want to make amends, please contact me, but I doubt that'll happen.
