In my opinion, the purpose of swap-bot is to make people happy or at least not upset them. That's what I'm aiming to do by reading thoroughly people's profiles and trying to choose the best card possible. So I hope you'll do the same for me and try to pick something that meets my preferences or at least don't send something from my DON'T SEND list...

I'll be happy if you write my card in SPANISH.

I'm not a flaker. Bear in mind that international mail may take its time. COVID didn't help in this aspect either. Don't worry, I'll resend if your postcard gets lost but you should give it enough time to arrive. Trust me, I've got experience. :)

My favourite types of postcards are as follows. It makes me extremely happy when I find something from the first three points in the list as it's very difficult to me to encounter such. Apart from this, touristy or animals is always an option.

• Prince Zuko from Avatar - both anime and live-action!

• my fav actors: Joel Kinnaman (Altered Carbon), Ben Barnes, Christian Bale, Jason Momoa, Antony Starr, Richard Armitage (Hobbit), Sean Bean (LOTR, Troy, Sharpe...), Ray Stevenson, Ioan Gruffud, Chris Hemsworth, Harrison Ford (like Han Solo, Indiana Jones), Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hugh Laurie as House MD; Michael Hall as Dexter, etc.

• Luis Royo & Anne Stokes art or other fantasy art - you know, dragons and heroes, warriors and warrior maidens (but NOT angels and fairies, please)

• beautiful architecture - castles, cathedrals, temples, mosques, pagodas, palaces and other beautiful buildings;

• historical sites - ruins, tombs, ancient and Mediaeval towns etc etc etc, the list is endless;

• mammals / wildlife (but NO monkeys and apes or domestic / cattle / fish and insects). I love badger, wolverine, marten, weasel, mink, hedgehog, ferret, mongoose, black dachshund....

Please, DON'T SEND such postcards:

• self-printed and self-made cards, (Zazzle and such are OK if the quality of the picture is good);

• non-touristy;

• people;

• holiday cards;

• reproduction art & drawings / cartoon;

• ads / free (unless they cover my fav topics and wishlist);

• book & movie characters (with the exception of my listed faves - I just don't care about the others)

• flowers;

• maps & flags;

• Greetings from, FOTW, MOTW and all kinds of series;

• folklore; costumes & crafts;

• food;

• vintage;

• black & white

• night views (I can't see a thing on them - only lights and shadows).

Not my cup of tea, really. Thank you!

I'm also looking for such cards and I'm willing to do private swaps:

• special material cards: metal, silk, wood, with "windows" on them etc...

• fantasy art - described above

• New Zealand LOTR maxicard with Sean Bean and other Boromir cards.

I discovered the tea swaps some time ago and I intend to join one every now and then. I'm eager to taste every kind of tea you're willing to send. Weird and unusual flavours are most welcome as I'm an adventurous one! ;) I have no food allergies so go ahead and try me!

More hints:

• I hate mint, anise, liquorice and pear. I don't like black teas like English Breakfast.

• I love cinnamon and clove and I'm curious about all spices. I love chai tea. I like fruit teas.

Fun fact: "chai" is the Bulgarian word for "tea". :)

• Bulgaria may not be able to offer the postcards you've requested in your profile, especially if non-touristy. I'm doing my best to find a proper one for you but the variety lately is very small.

• International mail may take its time, up to 3 months, even more. COVID didn't help either. Don't consider it lost too quickly. :)

Sometimes the post offices take their sweet time in delivering my postcards. Confirmed: Mail from Bulgaria to the USA might take 2-3 months! Current anti-record (2022): 235 days! To Indonesia it's been up to 7 months! S. Africa: In 2022 I got something sent in 2021... Please be patient! :)
