I live in Canberra, Australia. I love it here. We have the best of all cities. Close to everything - The Art Gallery, Portrait Gallery, The High court, The National Library etc. All have great coffee stops too. I'm a widow and retired many years ago. We loved caravanning and travelled a lot of Australia. I also used to pay golf but now I enjoy my patchwork. I prefer traditional but really admire Art Quilts. I also make Bobbin Lace - another addictive hobby. I'm looking forward to being part of this swap - a first for me. I haven't actually started any blocks yet but enjoy seeing what everyone is doing. will start soon and will use 30"s style fabrics. I love all colours but do like yellows, pinks and blues. I like surprises so will love anything I receive. In my past life I used to be an Infants School Teacher and then worked with my late husband in our own Printing business.
ps. I have to tell you also that I'm not very smart with computers having never needed to work with one.
