My name is Karen and I recently retired from Medical Social Work, was a Hospital Case Manager and a Federal Contractor for Medicare. I have years of Advocacy experience with both children, adults, and animals. My Husband is a Wildlife Rescue Officer and we do rescue, removal and rehab for wildlife. We have a small urban rehab made up of several rescued Parrots, Love Birds, Quakers, Conures, Blue & Gold Macaw, chickens, ducks, turkeys, African Sulcatta tortoises, rabbits, squirrels, dogs and cats. We actively pick up, rescue, and work with other wildlife rehabs in getting care and relocation of injured and nuisance animals as well as removal from residential homes and businesses.

My interests include animals, gardening, reading, writing, cooking, arts & crafts, drawing & painting, hand crafting, essential oil and herb work, cottage crafting practice (eclectic and hearth especially), candle work, crystals, problem resolution/counseling, and guidance support thru Divination, have practiced Tarot and Divination Arts of all kinds since teens and read in metaphysical stores and professionally at events. Was an avid runner and hiker most of my life, enjoy nature and traveling, collecting Tarot & Oracle decks especially unique and unusual forms of Divination, runes, bones, palmistry and casting methods (Tea Leaves, Ogham sticks, Playing Cards, Charms, scrying/gazing, etc). I am fascinated with paranormal events, mediumship, forensic divination, positive manifestation/affirmations/goals and intentions for transformation and positive change.

I draw energy and support from ArchAngels/Angels (esp Michael & Raphael), Master Guides and Teachers such as St. Germain, nature spirits, and work with Spirit guides, Ancestors and loved ones in Spirit. I enjoy Ancestry exploration, history, and learning about anthropology, sociology, cultures, and lifestyles far & wide.

I have a lifelong strong faith in God and also align with Goddess Brigid, interests in Celtic/Druid ideals and many Buddhist concepts and practices. I respect and value others’ beliefs and can almost always find common ground and concepts of agreement if it is not pushy and overbearingly preachy. I believe we are all made up of various beliefs and experiences that shape our view of divinity and spiritual concepts. Lifelong love of learning and exploring new ideas, experiences, people & places.

Any tarot or Divination type stickers for daily draw type journaling is enjoyed, although I am not a journal/planner type beyond that. Enjoy coffee and flavored teas, anything Astrology, Metaphysical, Divination oriented. I enjoy small colored or white candles for manifestation/meditation/prayer work, handmade divination tools such as runes, pendulums, wire wrapped crystals/small wands/charms for casting, etc., witchy herbs, oils, etc. I am ok with fragrances, incense, resins, etc. and I craft incenses and oils with herbs from my garden. Sun Flowers and Zinnias are my favorite flowers and can be found throughout my garden. I love reading, learning and am interested in current events. Favorite colors are shades of purples, rose/mauve, pink, yellows, greens and blues.

Not really much into scrapbooking or journaling, corresponding/pen pal, creating with stickers, washi tapes, etc., type of crafting although I don’t mind receiving them. These are always items that I can share with others or find a creative use for.

I enjoy all types of hand craft work, painting, drawing, reading, flower crafts, cooking, making herbal scrubs, oils, lotions, etc.

I am normally just happy to be surprised with something others have spent the time and thought to make or send is valued and appreciated. I mostly just enjoy the hands-on crafting, creativity and projects making things for others, sending some thoughtfulness and hopefully, joy. I find the process enjoyable, relaxing, energetically therapeutic for myself and the one being sent to, and it is creatively stimulating.

I am easy to please and, with me, it really is “the thought” that someone took time and sent “tiny treasures” to me that is meaningful. I’m part Magpie/Crow I guess and seek out trinkets and shiny treasures… lol. 😜😊
