Hi everyone, my name is Katie and I am 22 years old. I live in the UK, in a small town in central England - about 2 hours from London :)

I joined Swap-Bot to make some new friends, exchange ideas and items and just generally learn a bit more about life outside of the UK and Europe. My favourite swaps are the letter writing swaps and the tea swaps but I really hope to branch out soon and do some of the bigger package swaps!

I absolutely love to write letters, my penpals mean the absolute world to me and some of them I consider to be my best friends. I'm always on the look-out for new pals so if you come across my profile please send me a message and we can begin a correspondence.

Tea is my favourite drink of all time - I love to try all different flavours as I've discovered the flavours we have in the UK are actually quite boring compared to other countries! The only thing I request if participating in tea swaps is not to send me jasmine and chamomile flavoured tea (I don't really like those flavours)

I love to travel, I haven't been to many places but the places I have been to have opened my eyes to the world and how amazing it is.

I love make up products but mainly nail polishes and lip glosses are my favourites. I also love lip balm and hand cream, my saviours in the colder weather!

I love learning about different countries, no matter what country you live in I will find something interesting about it. I also love history of both the UK and other countries. My favourite time periods from England are the Tudors and the Victorians.

I have very recently started doing some crafts and I would be grateful if anyone could help me!! I'm starting out with some ATCs but would also love to try making my own jewellery and cards.

Other things I like are: shopping, jewellery, books, reading, postcards, watching films & tv series, hot chocolate, magazines, fashion and Hello Kitty.
