Hello! I'm 24 and from a little city in California. I have a terrible addiction to classic movies and jazz music. I've been told I was born in the wrong era. I love all things vintage, I love to bake and I love to read. I'm kind of a hermit, so I learn to entertain myself.

I'm hoping this will bring out a creative side that I so very lack :)

Likes: Red & Pink,Vintage pictures, History, Cinema, cherry blossoms, Cartoon Moons (like Mac Tonight or Victorian ones), Pop Art, Pinup Girls, postcards, any "old Hollywood" memoribilia (movie stars or movies), the 1940's (the war, the movies, the styles..), anything with Birds, herbal teas, essential oils, anything Burt's Bees... I'm on this "all natural" kick right now.

Dislikes: Nothing, really. except anime. not into that. I'm pretty open minded :)

I really like all kinds of music. My favorite eras of music are probably the 30's through the 70's. I love big band, swing, early jazz. Not a big fan of contempory jazz, though. Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles, Chicago, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Queen, Billie Holiday, Norah Jones, Pink Martini, Madeleine Peyroux, Led Zepplin, The White Stripes, Fats Waller, Elton John, Aerosmith, Frank Sinatra. The only music I really don't listen to is Rap, Hardcore, and Country (I do like bluegrass) even though the rest of my family loves it. I'm the oddball I guess.

I could watch movies all day and be perfectly content. I'm addicted to Netflix, and always up for discovering new favorites if you have any recommendations. Some of my favorite are: Finding Neverland, Airplane!, Roman Holiday, This is Spinal Tap, Summerstock, Rushmore, Easter Parade, You've Got Mail, Blazzing Saddles, Bringing up Baby, Across the Universe, Casablanca, Dead Poets Society, Singing in the Rain, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Clueless, A Lot Like Love, Chocolat, Summertime, Amelie, Penelope. Anything that will make me cry. I love a good Romantic tear jerker.

Jimmy Fallon, The Office, Gossip Girl, Jeopardy.

Crocheting, Embroidering, and learning to Sew. But I really Love snail mail and postcards.

The Things They Carried, The Outsiders, Water for Elephants, Wuthering Heights, Chronicles of Narnia, Love in the Time of Cholera, Love Stories of WW2, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Wind in the Willows. I would love recommendations for books, or even a good discussion of books is welcomed :)
