Just a single mom with two nine year old boys (yep, twins) who loves to craft, is passionate about wildlife and doing my part to save it from human destruction. I have Type 1 diabetes (and so does one of my sons who is also autistic). My other son has severe ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome.

I am crazy about and collect anything with dragons, bats, leopards, butterflies, elephants, tigers and trees... oh I love trees... almost as much as I love chocolate and yarn! Earth tones are my favorite colors, naturally. ;)

I love to knit & crochet with soft, fluffy yarns. I live in a climate that is rather warm year round, so things with wool are out for me, but I do like to make them for friends. :) I will knit (or crochet) anything, although I have to admit I have issues with sweaters. I can never get the size right. ;)

I sew (sometimes compulsively)things with fat quarters. I adore retro fabrics and any fabric with a brown and blue color combo. I like to sew purses, totes and curtains. One day I will make that quilt...

Paper... oh how I love thee. One of my most favorite thing to do is make stationary and card sets. They make the most wonderful gifts. I also enjoy making paper and paper mache.

I enjoy listening to just about anything... from rock & roll, dance, industrial and 70's & 80's punk to jazz, electronic and country. You name it and I probably listen to is at some point through out the day depending on my mood. Which, by the way, changes quite often. LOL

I enjoy reading A LOT! I will read anything except romance novels (yuck!). Lately I have been into true crime stories, but I also love mysteries, fantasy and non-fiction. I can never have enough how-to books on any type of craft, and travel books. (Map-geek here waving to you!!)

CSI & CSI:Miami, Dr. Who (serious 10 fan here but 8 is my first love), Law & Order (and CI), anything on Animal Planet and House are what I watch most. I am a sucker for anything with Steve Irwin, Nigel Marvin and Steve Leonard as well.

I love to make things for other people.
