I live with my fiance. We have 6 beautiful pet chickens who love cuddles. They're amazingly affectionate and fascinating pets each with their own personalities.

I work as a web designer and also make sewing patterns as a hobby. Take a look at my website.

I enjoy sewing both for costumes and craft. I love to embroider and quilt and have several projects going at once. I also like to make costumes and help to organise events to wear them to in my local area. I am completely self taught and like to have a go at new things.

I have a love of history - I was a medieval re-enactor for a time and am intrigued by european history from most periods, especially dark ages through to elizabethan.

I like a range of things from metal to classical. My favourite at the moment is called "operatic metal" where the loud and fast guitar and drums are mixed with other instruments such as violin, flute or keyboards. Favourite bands include Nightwish, Chalice, Virgin Black, Static-X, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and Smashing Pumpkins. At the opposite scale my boyfriend prefers classical and 60s music.

My favourite authors are Neil Stephenson, George RR Martin and Robert Jordan. I like hard hitting fantasy with characters and plot that has depth.

My favourite crafty passtimes are costuming, quilting and embroidery, though I will have a go at paper crafts and other textile crafts.

Colours: Red, Green and Blue, Silver

Things: Dragons, Mythical Creatures, Chickens, Animals (except spiders!), birds, nature, asian styles, medieval styles, alice in wonderland, japanese animation

Craft Supplies I use: fabric, embroidery supplies, natural threads (silk, cotton, wool), jewellery findings, precious stones, lace, cute or funky prints, japanese "kawaii" prints

Piercings: I have my ears pierced multiple times and a labret.

Treats: I love chocolate, but don't eat other types of sweets

Motifs: Crowns, Cute Skulls, 5 pointed star, Japanese characters

Anything that will not get through Australian Quarantine

I am also not religious, though I would not mind if it had a historical sense (ie I own the Maciejowski bible for its historical importance as a re-enactors reference book)

I would prefer nothing of a political nature as I would prefer to keep this fun.

I can't wear most jewelleries due to metal allergies.
