So you want to know about me?
Here is the 'nutshell' version. :0)
I am a chocoholic mother of one, who loves to bake (with the assistance of Miss 4), create (with the assistance of the cat) and relax (with the assistance of the hubby).
A complete mash of loads of completely different music. Just whatever takes my fancy at that moment. To make it easier I shall just list types as they come into my 'fav' list.
Classical (nothing with harpichords ICK) Muse (an indi Englich band - hubby found online) The Wiggles (hey I have a 4 year old) The Fairies (see previous explaination) The Beatles (don't they have the easiest lyrics) Shrek sountrack
Any books by the below authors!!
CRIME/MYSTERY Agatha Christie Sue Grafton Kathy Reichs Patricia Cornwell Arthur Conan Doile Mark Billingham
FANTASY Raymond E. Feist JRR Tolkein Robin Hobb Weis & Hickman George RR Martin Jim Butcher Janny Wurts
SCI-FI Elizabeth Moon
HUMOUR Bill Bryson
SPY/THRILLER Len Deighton Robert Ludlum Alistair Maclean
I like action and adventure movies where it is exciting to sit and watch what they do. I only watch the soppy ones when hubby puts them on. True story!!
Indiana Jones Predator Lord of the Rings
Hmmm I am having problems thinking of movies as I don't watch them much so I will put TV movies as movies.
Miss Marple Poirot Hornblower
I mostly watch children's programming as that is what gets put on either while eating breakfast or while I'm cooking dinner. Sometimes I even get to watch something I want to watch (after Miss 4 has gone to bed). I like interesting things. Things that will amuse me.
QI Dr Who Gruen Mister Maker (how did that get in this list?) Grand Designs Game of Thrones (the books are better)
Um, can I say everything?? Seriously!!
Currently I have been scrapbooking since October 2011 (only 8 pages).
Card making is always my favourite.
Lately I have been crocheting.
I hope to get back into cross stitch as I have some cute patterns that I have had since before Miss 4 was born!! aybe not then!
BAKING!!! Need I say more?? Really?? Cakes/biscuits/slices/cheesecakes
Sometimes I will even bake scones when hubby BEGS!
COOKING - bah who needs it, Miss 4 will eat beans on toast any day! :0)
I LOVE CHOCOLATE! That is all thank you very much!
Seriously just about the only chocolate I won't eat is the 75% or more pure dark chocolate or white chocolate (but that is just milk and sugar anyway)!
Sweets. Well I can take them or leave them. I do NOT like overly sour or 'hot' sweets.
For me: -chocolate -glossy accents -stickles -modge podge -washi tape -filled chocolate -satiny fabric that I can cut 5 1" circles out of to make a flower (a matching button to go in the middle of the finished flower would be wonderful if you have one) -thickers -fruit and nut chocolate -resin or paper flowers (pale colours) -dark chocolate (must have some sort of flavour NOT chilli)
For Miss 4: -letters (perhaps from your own grand/children -even about a normal day) -small chocolate treat (ie freddo frog, fun sized chocolate) -postcard (she adores postcards with places and animals -please put LOTS of kisses on the bottom xxxxx as she loves these)
For husband: -dark chocolate (the darker the better NO flavours) -anything Freddy Mercury or Queen related -Sherlock Holmes (English tv version, both the old and the new one)
