Hello, my name is Daria, I am 29 and live in Limassol, Cyprus, bur originally i am from Russia. I have been leaving here for a year and a half after the company where i work trasfered the business in Cyprus. There are many things that i like about Cyprus (the life is safe and quiet, the environment is clean and the ecology is not spoiled by factories as there are very few of them) but i miss my own house and my relatives in Russia very much. Originally i am from a small village near Moscow, and most time of the year it was snow, rains, and in summer lots of greenery, grass and flowers. The place where i live is completely different, with very few rains during the year, no snow at all , and rather deserted landscape. But of course there is one thing that helps to cope with all other disadvantages - it is the sea. About 6 month a year the water is enough warm to swim in the sea and as all peope grown up in the middle of the contry i just love the sea very much! As i am away from home (and it is terribly hot here in summer so that you can move just from one air conditioner to another going outside as little as possible) i have a lot of free time. I've found this wonderful site and very glad to join. The idea to share postcatd, handmade things seems wonderfull to me. Studing this site i have found lots of things and kinds of crafts i did not know before (for example zentangl that captivated now my evenings.

Classic, espesially Iohann Bach and Wolfgang Mozart. I also appreciate Cesaria Evora, Jan Garbarek, and some other modern musicians.

I have made lots of embroidery, especially embroidery pillows, and now i obsessed with Tilda creatures. I also find floristics (pictures from compressed dried flowers) very interesting to be done. The thing that i want fo try is ribbon embroydery ( i have ordered some silk ribbons from USA and now waiting for them to be delivered to start my new work).

I do not sign for lots of swaps, but only for those that i can manage. So I understand that it is very unpleasant when you do not recieve an item. I am VERY responsible about that and you can be sure that if i sign for a swap, i fulfil it. If you do not recieve an item from me, PLEASE contact me and i will resend it, because it can happen only due to the unsatisfied work of the post (sorry, dear Post, nothing agains you, but sometimes you loose things:((().
