Hi everyone!

My name is Nicol and I am a clinical psychology student. In the future, I want to become a child therapist because I have always loved working with children! My journey with snail mailing started back in 2014, when I participated in a school project to exchange letters with students from Finland. The letter I received was different from other students' letters - nicely decorated, with some goodies inside. Right then I started looking for pen pals on my own. I didn't have any stationery, and now it's getting bigger every year. My dream is a crafting room where I can have easy access to all supplies. Apart from snail mailing, my hobby is journaling (travel journal and gratitude journal), I like to document pleasant moments.

My other hobbies are traveling and photography. I really like learning about other religions and cultures, languages of the world. I am eager to read about interesting facts about your country :)

I like sitcoms: Friends, How I Met Your Mother, The Office and Modern Family. I also play video games: The Last of Us, Uncharted, Horizon and God of War are my favourite! Can't forget about The Sims, which I totally love as well.

I adore all kinds of flipbooks, recently I've also started creating pocket letters and I'm in love with them (I quickly got addicted to them haha). I am open to a private pocket letter swap too!

My favourite stationery is washi tape - even my Instagram name is washi.addicted - I can't really imagine my crafts without it! I remember when I started snail mailing there was not a single washi tape around in the store, I would travel to a city to purchase one or two rolls.

Collecting stationery I would definitely call another hobby of mine. I'm trying to use my old stationery pieces before buying anything new!

I like everything with vintage or botanical theme. Some of the things that I love receiving the most:

• clear/rubber stamps
• travel related stationery
• vintage die cuts, ephemera, tags and labels
• metal die cuts
• letter sets
• sticky notes/memo pads
• vintage word/phrases stickers
• wax seals/wax beads
• rhinestone stickers
• 3D vintage/floral stickers
• paper clips with different shapes

Dislikes: childish stickers and neon colours

I do enjoy kawaii/Japanese stationery too 🌸

I am always grateful for the lovely letters I receive and also all the goodies. They inspire me the most to create new projects, I always get some new ideas!

I love to bake a lot. I can share with you some cool recipes that you can try out! Likewise, I'm not afraid of testing new things, weird flavour combinations and traditional sweets from different parts of the world. And I love to drink tea/coffee!

Likes:

Dislikes: licorice, orange flavour, herbal teas

I wear braces now! Therefore I kindly ask you not to send the chewing gum :)

I love self care products, although I often forget about the "spa day" just for myself. Treat and love yourself! :)

Dislikes: anything damaged or with orange smell (I'm not a fan of it).
