Hi my name is Bec and I love to read, game and craft. I'm an avid journal writer and love pens, paper and stationery. I have a whole shelf of blank notebooks but am always happy to add to my collection.

I'm a multi-crafter! Though i mostly sew and crochet I also dabble regularly in papercraft, beading, knitting, embroidery and anything I can get my hands on. I have a collection of craft books that is growing at an alarming rate because i love learning new techniques so much. My aims for this year craft-wise are to make more of my own clothing, get into art journaling regularly and to improve my handwriting, drawing and knitting skills.

Flavours: I love Chocolate, especially dark chocolate. Chocolate anything is all good with me :) I also like peppermint and spearmint.

Colours: I wear mostly dark colors (black, grey and dark purple) but love to accessorize with jewel tones (e.g. teal, ruby red, forest green) or vintage inspired brights (e.g. mustard yellow, mulberry pink, mint green). I prefer silver tones to gold or brass. If I'm not wearing it then i don't mind light colours and pastel tones. Particularly for stationery items.

Themes/Patterns: Creepy cute, skulls and skeletons, birds, Plaid, Gothic, mushrooms, vintage, anatomical illustrations, polka dots, stripes, mod style prints, Argyle, black lace, owls, elegant black and white prints, tiki, Postal.

General Interests: Reading, Books & Notebooks, Stationery, Hockey (field hockey) and Running, Dark Glitter, Gaming especially Borderlands 1&2, Dragon Age & Mass Effect, Blythe/Pullip and Ball Jointed Dolls, Tarot, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Handbags,Old Encyclopedia style illustrations of animals, tiny things, Goth & Rockabilly, Steampunk & Victorian Gothic, Cath Kidson, notebooks (yes i am somewhat eclectic in my assortment of tastes - if in doubt just ask).

I'm allergic to soap and most synthetic fragrances make me very sneezy so please don't send me bath products, incense or items scented with anything other than natural essential oils.

I also have an intense dislike for watermelon or cherry flavors and am a bit iffy about white chocolate but other than that i'm not too fussy.

Jane Austen, Francesca Lia Block, Tolkien, Margaret Atwood, Kerry Greenwood & Terry Pratchett are my all time faves though I also have a fondness for Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, J.K. Rowling, Jeff Noon and Neil Gaiman.

I like dark fantasy and supernatural fiction, a bit of trashy romance on occasion and Victorian/Regency settings. I really can't get into any war themed books and am not interested in the twilight series.
