OnTheMove

I'm a quilter, mother, wife, grandmother, who is always OnTheMove! I'm active in my community: president of my local quilt guild, secretary of my garden club, member of the local Art Guild, and I run a Bed and Breakfast out of my 1910 Craftsman-style home. If you're ever in Oregon, look me up! I have a big black female Lab named Ellie who thinks she's a quilter :-)

If I'm desperate, I'll read anything! I enjoy mysteries, westerns, love stories (not too sappy). I read lots of magazines: quilting, beading, crafting and cooking.

I love HGTV!! The gardening, decorating and cooking! I also enjoy the Food Network, and collect recipes from the programs. I LOVE Paula Dean, Sandra Lee and Rachel Ray. My B&B guests love the food I prepare from their shows :-)

I enjoy quilting, beading, applique, scrapbooking, collecting supplies for anything and everything craft related. My 1800 sq.ft. basement is FULL of things that I NEED for my crafting. Lol!

Fabric, buttons, tool and notions, sewing machines, china, cookbooks, quilting and beading magazines, baskets and birdhouses. I've never met a thrift shop, yard or estate sale I didn't like.

Chocolate, nice soaps, candles, fabric, buttons, trims, small notions, recipes, handmade brooches, pincushions, old linens, old wool sweaters to make purses and brooches. I like animals, shopping, going to the beach and to quilting retreats.

My favorite colors are purple and teal but I have fabric in most every color. Can never have too much fabric!

Smelly and dirty items, minty things, crude or pornographic items, religious items, animal-made products, or anything with a pig theme. For some reason people where I used to live thought I especially liked pigs, and swamped me with pig paraphernalia!!
