Pangolin

I'm a Spanish girl who studies medicine. I love cooking, animals (especially turtles and birds), art and red wine. I sleep too much and it makes me a very happy people. I spend my free time painting, embroidering and watching a lot of movies (I'm a cinema lover...). I love fashion and photography and my favourite art discipline is collage. I love Mexican aesthetics with sugar skulls, flowers and colorful dead. I think that rules are made to be broken!

Apart from this, I apologize for my English, I'm trying my best.

I love music and I listen to many different styles. Generally I love singers with powerful and hard voice (like Lila Downs, Chavela Vargas or Estrella Morente). Besides that I love David Bowie, Queen, Michael Jackson. Of course I love Elvis and rockabilly music drives me crazy: when I grow up I want to be like Wanda Jackson. Love of Lesbian, M-Clan, Joaquín Sabina, Loquillo and Ismael serrano are some of my favorite Spanish artists. I also listen to classical music (I could die listening Piano Concerto No. 1 by Tchaikovsky)

Some of my favourite writers are Charles Bukowsky, Chuck Palahniuk, Gabriel García Márquez and Edgar Allan Poe. E.E.Cummings and Charles Baudelaire are my favorite poets. I can not chose just one book as my favorite but I think "Ghosts" by Chuck Palahniuk is pretty close.

Definitely I love Woody Allen and "Annie Hall" is my favorite film. Besides, I love classic movies like "Some Like It Hot" or "Breakfast at Tiffany's". In my childhood I was obsessed with "Peter Pan" and "Labyrinth". Anyway, when I have a bad day a Hitchcock movie seems to be the only thing that solves it.

I see a lot of series: The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Girls, Two broke girls... Some of my favorites are Scrubs, Sex at the city and House. Also I see a lot of documentaries and I definitely love reality shows.

My favorite artist of all time is Frida Kahlo, but I also love Monet, Picasso's rose and blue periods, Pollock and Antonio López. Terry Richardson is my favorite photographer (I really admires his spontaneity and his irreverence), However, I am always looking for new artists that inspire me and make me happy.

I visit many blogs: fashion-blogs, embroidery-blogs, food-blogs and all kind of art-blogs. Besides, I love cooking and I try new recipes each time (I love typical Spanish food and Italian food). I used to write short stories and poems but nowadays I prefer to do manual things like collage or painting. As I said before, I can spend a lot of time embroidering (I normally embroider birds or anatomical drawings like hearts, lungs or skulls) However, I spend mostly of my time studying medicine (it's a very hard and long degree)
