39yo woman from Texas. I have degrees in psychology and graphic design. I love art and reading. I also enjoy anime and manga as well as traditional cartoons. Especially love 2d animation.
I love animals and have an elderly yellow mutt and a middle age cow-kitty! I spent two summers living in a tent volunteering at a wolf sanctuary in Colorado and would still be there if a family emergency hadn't brought me home. The more obscure the animal, the better (jaguarundis for the win!)
Also a fan of anthropomorphic art and literature, so cartoon animals are always a safe bet with me. ^^ (As I'm sure is obvious by my DA gallery, I LOVE shapeshifters!)
Abney Park, Caravan Palace, Powerman5000, Man With A Mission
ANIMORPHS! :D
Shapeshifter fiction (survival, not romance) - Ivy Cole and the Moon, Luna, Through Wolf's Eyes, Silver Wolf
Galaxy Quest, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Ink (seriously- go to hulu and watch it free. It is amazing!), American Werewolf in London, Wolf Mountain, Kung Fu Panda, Disney's Robin Hood, The Emperor's New Groove, The Cat from Outer Space, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, UP, Singing in the Rain, Lion King, The Jerk, Benny and Joon
12 Monkeys, Warehouse 13, Monk, Psych, Natsume Yuujincho, Mushi Shi, Firefly, First Wave, Sliders, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits
I like art a bit more than crafts. My favorites are ATCs, paper sculptures, sculpey figures, costumes, plushies, and character art.
I like to use naturally shed fur from unusual animals in my crafts. I have wolf fur that I collected from a sanctuary when they were shedding, Alpaca wool (bought from an animal therapy center), and bobcat fur that I acquired from an animal I found who recently died of natural causes. I use it to make bracelets, necklaces, and keychains. I would love to expand my collection if you have access to an exotic animal who wouldn't mind donating some of its shed fur! (But please, PLEASE no fur-farm pelts. I don't want any animals harmed for my hobby!)
Hand-Drawn/Painted ATC's
Unusual styles or media (I sometimes get in an illustration rut and love to take inspiration from others' styles!
Metal, bone or wooden buttons. Especially with detailed designs! (I love dressing up old clothes with beautiful buttons and clasps. It's amazing how details like that can refresh thrift store and inexpensive clothes!)
I really love any kind of pewter notions

Jaguarundis! :3 (I would rate multiple hearts if I could for anybody who gives me jaguarundi stuff! :D )
As far as dislikes go, I won't rate lower if I get something I don't particularly care for. If I receive the swap I always rate 5.
Not much of a collage person myself, but if that is what you enjoy making, go for it! One of my favorite things about Swap-Bot is seeing everyone's diverse talents!
Chocolate (I like it, but I live in Texas, so it won't survive the mail)
Vampires and paranormal romance, Tinkerbell, Tweety bird, Mickey Mouse, Betty Boop,or Disney princesses. Just not my thing.
Christmas stuff
Parenting, pregnancy, or child-related things (39, married, and childfree! I love my little cousins and nephews but don't want any of my own!)
Photos of people or civilization- like nature better (One exception is interesting old architecture and abandoned buildings. I find those fascinating. Especially when local flora has begun to reclaim it.)
Sports- not my thing
Country, Rap, Pop, Gospel music
Sappy sentimentality/Religious stuff (I don't send it unless it's in your list of interests)
Spongebob and Adventure Time. Those shows just get on my nerves.

OMG! You love Rich Mullins! I live in Wichita, I truly love his music still and miss him very much, saw him live a couple of times, once down at the Roxy where I got him to sign my cassette tape cover for "This is the World as Best as I Can Remember It Vol.2." That was back in 1993 though, wow has it really been that long? Anyway nice to meet you and have a great day!
Welcome to Swap-Bot~
