Hi! My name is Bekah, and I am a mother and computer geek living in the big state of Texas! I used to swap back on Craftster.org back in the day under the username Spiffyhink, and didn’t make the switch over to Swap-bot until now, but I was usually on the paper/image reproduction techniques boards, although I would venture into others at times. I still miss Craftster :( and I wish they hadn’t closed. In particular I missed the swaps we used to do all the time, so I decided to try things out here. I’m looking forward to swapping with you!

I love working with papercrafts and making ATCs, junk journals, paintings, inchies/rinchies (are people still into those things?), and many other things besides. I work with acrylics and colored pencils most, but also use watercolor, pastels, charcoal, markers, and oil pastels. Besides that I also occasionally crochet, and am really into miniatures. I LOVE tiny things, and also collect a number of dolls to go with them. I’m one of those strange people who is into BJDs, and I currently have a Fairyland Minifee Chloe and Celine, two Blythes and one Icy doll, a Middie and Mini Blythe, a Hujoo Nano Freya, and several Monster High/Ever After High and a few off-brand dolls that I have modified.

Girlpop, Video game music (favorites: Undertale, Skyrim OST, DeBlob soundtracks), film/TV soundtracks (I will always LOVE the Star Wars soundtracks and many others by John Williams. I also love listening to the LOTR soundtracks), electronic, dance, electro-pop, jazz, classical, adult alternative, metal, chiptune

Dune, Hyperion Cantos, Harry Potter, Lovecraft, DiscWorld, and a whole bunch of other Sci-Fi stuff I read on a regular basis. I also love reading nonfiction, especially about economics, sociology, history, and science. Feel free to give me recommendations, or ask for some!

Between music, crafting, podcasts, and video gaming, my entertainment needs are pretty well met, so I don’t watch a whole lot of TV or Netflix, but here are a few I enjoy: Star Trek, Doctor Who, The Expanse, Sailor Moon, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Battlestar Galactica (old and new), Attack on Titan, Bob’s Burgers, Adventure Time, the Office, and Mythbusters

I’ve noticed not a whole lot of people add these in their profiles, but I’ve decided to list a few just because most of them have themes that people are familiar with, and they are easy to craft for: The Sims, Stardew Valley, SimCity/Cities Skylines. Planet Coaster/Planet Zoo, Subnautica, Minecraft, Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim, Fallout, Kirby, Metroid, LEGO games, Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Luigi’s Mansion

I am super into Sci Fi and video gaming and love everything related to them. I collect consoles and have about a dozen or so by now, but the gameboy and Nintendo 64 are my favorites, since they are the ones I grew up with. I also love tiny and cute things, including anime/manga/kawaii styles. Especially ones having to do with cats. I have two little monsters of my own, and I love them to pieces. I also love Halloween and anything Witchy/Pagan/Nature themed.

• I love spooky things, and I'm okay with tasteful nudity, but nothing gory or pornographic please
• Halloween: yes! Slasher/serial killer type stuff: no thank you! Just my own personal tastes. (Bones, skeletons, ghosts, monsters, are all okay. I just don't like movies about killing!)
