Wife, mother of 2 grown sons and a teenage daughter, and grandmother ,,,who loves to quilt. I am a seamstress turned quilter. Started sewing when I was a young girl with embroidery, then sewing my clothing, then custom sewing/bridal. I have moved a lot through my life but sewing/quilting has been my constant, my sanity! I have a blog which I post to when time allows although I'm hoping to step it up in the new year,,,mostly post photos on IG. Would love to have you follow me on my quilting journey!

I also knit and crochet, but quilting is my love. Keeping my hands busy keeps my mind busy which in turn keeps me sane LOL.

I love receiving guilty goodness! I also love having what you love making/creating,,,so you have free choice what to make. A few ideas I love are mini quilt, mug rug, zippy pouch,,,,anything is fine really. Just have fun creating and I will enjoy it!

I love grays, whites, with blues, reds, pinks, aqua. I don't particularly care for Browns and oranges but in the right context it works sometimes.

I have enjoyed this journey so far (even though with the prepping for Thanksgiving I am a bit behind) and I have loved each block for it's own reason,,,,so do I have a favorite, not really. Even the ones I have had difficulty in making I have enjoyed due to the fact I have learned something,,,and I love learning new things.
