I am a 33 year old mother of two, I enjoy crafting when I get the opportunity although my skill lie in card making and colouring (love to get my pens out and colour for hours... think I'm having some kind of regression) and what I refer to as cutting / sticking and pasting. I am a very harsh critic of myself and in no way consider anything I produce as Art but I have fun with what I do create and improve on my skills with each individual make!

I'm a bit of a geek... adore Doctor Who with a passion and had a bit of a sob over Christmas when 11/12 regenerated :( , other programs I love include Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, Once upon a time, Buffy / Dollhouse (anything Wheedon related), Elementary. Finally Sherlock (thanks to my baby girl) and the hunger games... I love what I consider to be classic fairytales, Brothers Grim, Red riding hood, Alice in wonderland, Snow white but not necessarily Disneyfied. I also love merges like a series of artwork where they merged Disney and Doctor Who was very cool. I like to play around with new ideas but have a pile of disasters bigger than my sucesses but it's a learning curve!!!

Music:

Muse, Pink, The cranberries, No doubt, Mcbusted (YES REALLY!, both as separate groups and together!) Taylor Swift, Lily Allen, Blink 182, Greenday, Scouting for Girls, Stephen Lynch..

I like most music, but I am a word person so mostly it has to have good lyrics over anything else. Not a huge fan of loud metal type music

Tv /Films:

Doctor Who (I think I may have mentioned this already) Anything Joss Wheedon (even if he does kill of everyone I love :( ) Eastenders Desperate Housewives HIMYM Witches of Eastend Devious Maids Once upon a time and wonderland Anything whimiscal or sci-fi related (not star wars) Star trek Voyager Tru Blood (but I have to watch anything gross through my fingers) I like chick flick movies or movies that make me think. Hubby is currently trying to get me into horror movies but I prefer the psychological stuff over gore and blood (eek) Tangled and now.. Frozen (which was so sad!)

Books:

Impossible to list all my faves but: Dr Who and fan related fiction Twillight Harry Potter His Dark Materials The hunger games Anything considered a classic so Emma / Oliver Twist / Fairy Tales etc Discworld / anything Pratchett Anything by Sophie Kinsella Bridget Jones (although I confess I hated the last one)

I will read anything though and eat books when I get the opportunity. Drives hubby mad as he says he can't afford to keep me in books!

Likes:

Anything Geeky or Nerdy, sci fi related, not so good with comics as I didn't really experience this culture growing up. Dr Who - I collect Tardis' and my favorite colour is "tardis" blue Bright bold colours / Jewel colours Words / quotes / lyrics - words feed my soul Burlesque and vintage pin up's (sexy but classy rather than brash and crude) Colouring (Yes I'm a big kid) and doodling. - again I am a bit of a one for stealing my teenage daughters fashion books and drawing and colouring in all the dresses! Socks / gloves (because I am always cold) Sarcastic humor paper-crafting whimsical things that are pretty any fairy tale ever! owls cute things stickers stationary - I love pens, letter sets, post it notes and different shapes of paper clips.. Crafting and making envelopes! Gothic images (but no gore or blood)

To be honest I like most things, I am not easily offended and I am open minded. I enjoy things that are made with thought and care and love and appreciate anything that is shared. I get great pleasure in making things for others.

Dislikes:

Sad washed out colours or mucky browns. Blood / Gore, Graphic Horror Spiders and creepy crawlies
