I am a wife to 1 husband and mother to 2 daughters. I love crafting especially sewing and trying out new things. I am new to swaps and I think It is something I could get addicted to - I sent out my first 2 swaps today (22.02.08)and think I will be accused of being a postman stalker over the next few weeks waiting for packages.

READING I love to read every night before I go to bed - I tend to read novels and love reading books about people - fiction stories about people - The Tenko Club, The Alphabet Sisters, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Biographies - Princess Sultana, Love in a Torn Land, etc....

TV I love watching TV - Home and Away was what I grew up with and still enjoy, I love Grey's Anatomy, CSI, Criminal Minds, SO you think You can Dance, America's Top Model.

KIDS I LOVE kids - I am a mother to 2 daughters and before that a child care worker - It was my destiny to have kids - but not too many.

LEARNING I love to learn new things and am open to most things.

CRAFT I dabble in many crafts but stick with sewing/applique and simple embroidery (back stich). I have done some stamping and little card making, and tried to get into scrapbooking but don't find the creative inspiration here.

If I sign up for a swap I would be open to the persons interpretation - I will only join a swap if I am generally interested in the product I am singing for and do my best to incorporate the theme myself.

I love the colour green (olive green hues) but also every other colour. I love Purple, Greens, Pinks, Red, Orange. I tend to like Bright colours or pastels. I love hand knitted socks. And I am interested in ATC's but have never ever made or recived one to know where to start.

I Love Butterflies, Flowers (roses,spring bulbs), Dragonflies, Cows, Fairies/Mushrooms.

I love Retro, Softies, Japanese (without gold highlights), Cherry Blossoms.

I really love fabrics made by Any Butler, Micheal Miller, Sandi Henderson, Heather Bailey.

I do not like to say I do not like something because sometimes I may say I do not like something and when It is made up etc I will like it. I guess I do not like cheap and nasty plastic crap....you know $2 shop stuff made cheaply (it does have it's use at times though) I am not that into country themed deco or Autum type themes/colurs. I prefer spring and summer colours. I do not tend to like teddy bear type themes or brownish coloured patch worky stuff.

I generally like Top 40 type music and soft alternative and rock, some hip hop and some classical, I like Nora Jones but nothing heavily country.

I am facinated by crime shows like CSI, Without a Trace, SVU, Law and Order and the like even though they scare the jeebies out of me and make me worry.

I love Greys Anatomy, All Saints (Aussie) and I have grown up watching Home and Away and am still a fan.

I am watching Big Brother Australia at the moment and whilst I do not agree with some of the opinions etc of the inmates It facinates me to watch peoples interactions with each other.

I am a fan of Trash TV but will do many things while it is on at night - like sewing or computer surfing etc.
