Hello Everyone! I'm Lindsay. I'm 25, from Virginia. I love to watch movies, go to concerts and wander around in the woods. I live half an hour from the beach, but I don't like to go in the ocean (though people watching on the boardwalk is always fun)

I'm a bit of a magpie, shinny things distract me and I collect little bits of junk to use in my collages (I'm currently in love with rusty bits of hardware) I like cemeteries, abandoned buildings and beautiful decaying places.

When I grow up, I want to be Morticia Addams.

Vintage images, especially photos from before 1950. Burlesque, pinups, and vintage nudes. Old movie stars.

Owls, cats, fawns, and birds. I also love bats!

Coffee, chocolate, and mint flavored things. I love foreign snacks (like Pocky) and old fashioned candy (I will love you forever if you send me some Slo Poke)

My favorite Sanrio characters are The Little Twin Stars (It's very hard to find any of their stuff around here)

My favorite colors are green, red, pink, and black.

I collect vintage photos and postcards, kitchy vintage owls, Nightmare Before Christmas things, and books (I have an ever growing collection of folklore, mythology, and fairytale books)

I love all things gothic and spooky. Halloween is my favorite holiday (my very favorite day of the year!!)

I love robots, monsters, skulls, bats, and stars.

Anything religious, patriotic, or "cutesy-country" (please don't send anything with cows, pigs, ducks or teddy bears)

Perfume, incense, candles, and anything with too strong of a scent.

I don't drink tea.

I don't like most gummy candies (except those orange slice things) and really don't like sour candy.

I generally don't like most country or rap music. I'm also not a fan of classical or most musical theater type things.

I usually listen to all things rock. Alt rock, indie rock, goth rock...yeah.

I love books! I usually read things that are scifi or fantasy. I like getting lost in weird worlds. I love fairy tales, fables, and myths. Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Neverwhere, American Gods, The Martian Chronicles, and The Time Traveler's Wife are some of my favorites.

My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Ray Bradbury, Terry Pratchett, and Douglas Adams.

I also love comics. The Sandman, Watchmen, Fables, Y the Last Man, Nightmares and Fairy Tales, and the new Buffy Season 8 series.

I love old B-movies, horror and sci-fi, exploitation and "grindhouse" type movies (Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is one of my favorites) I love really bad, cheesy old movies. If it has a guy in a monster suit, bad effects, and cardboard rockets...I love it! All of the movies on Mystery Science Theater 3000 are awesome!

My favorite actor is Vincent Price and I adore B-movie actress Mary Beth Hughes!

I don't watch a lot of tv (at least not a lot of new tv) I don't think that most of the sitcoms are funny, and the dramas are boring.

I watch The Daily Show every day. Gilmore Girls was awesome, but sadly it's over now. Oh, and I love my cartoons! Family Guy, Futurama, and The Venture Brothers are the best!

Last year my boyfriend introduced me to Mystery Science Theater 3000 and I became obsessed with it! It's so much fun watching robots make fun of bad, bad old movies. :)

Other shows I love are Buffy, Six Feet Under, Mythbusters, That Girl, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and The Addams Family.

I love to make things! Arts and crafts are my life.

I like to experiment with mixed media, especially combining collage and painting. I like to use vintage images and papers, and unusual things like eggshells.

I sew a lot. I make my own clothes (mostly skirts and dresses, but I shall soon venture into the world of pants!) I make bags and purses. I love making stuffed toys and dolls (and making little monsters and robots out of cute fabric!)

I love photography, especially lomo style. Right now I'm using a camera from the dollar store (it works much better than I thought it would) I would dearly love to have a Holga or Diana camera.

I don't knit or crochet, but I love interesting fibers and yarns (I use them as trim, doll hair, or in collages)
