Hi! I'm Stacy from Poughkeepsie NY. Getting creative and crafty is so relaxing and fun. Swap-bot is a nice escape. I like to dabble in all sorts of crafts - I love browsing in the craft store, buying whatever catches my eye, and using it to create something for someone.

I love children's books, cookbooks ( I love reading books about cooking and baking, especially if there are pictures), any craft books, misc. fun books (ex. Cake Wrecks, Candy Freak, Famous Last Words). I love looking at magazines and catalogs. Big fan of Peanuts (Snoopy and the gang). I love reading both fiction and non-fiction. Love history and science.

Antiques Roadshow, American Pickers, the news, Family Feud, Cupcake Wars, Dancing with the Stars (my mom and I have a tradition now of watching together), Documentaries (especially Archeology, Ancient Egypt, fossils), Chopped, some reality TV, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, the Middle, The Big Bang Theory, and a lot more (I like TV).

Felting, embroidery, hand sewing, jewelry making (found objects/trinkets in resin), letter writing, scrapbooking, paper crafts, coloring, holiday crafts, decorating and gift wrapping. Can never have enough Washi or stickers - love them.

Anything girly and pretty, shabby chic, vintage things, starry night sky, nature, retro stuff, baking, cooking. I love the ocean, shells, sea glass, stones, images of oysters with pearls, I love to be surprised and appreciate everything. I'm a romantic and love all things whimsical. Have always loved tiny things, miniatures, trinkets and what-nots. I love both traditional and modern. Love holidays, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas. I love gardens, plants, and flowers. I love winter, love the snow. Love animals, wild and domestic. I have two sweet cats.

Pink, turquoise. Love neutrals sometimes, bright colors other times, love all white decorating for the winter holidays.

There isn't much I don't like. Not crazy about risque themes/images, horror/gore... Otherwise very easy to please.

I love being introduced to new things and styles...just because something isn't listed on my profile doesn't mean I won't like it!
