I am 27 years old and have been married for almost four years. I have a darling one-year-old son and am expecting my second son in March 2011.

If you got my name for a swap...let's see. My favorite colors are jewel tones, especially emerald and sapphire, but I also love anything bright or vivid (think tie dye colors!). I adore whimsical things, faries, dragons, and anything Victorian or Medieval. I have two noisy cats and a large goofy dog. I possess a twisted sense of humor, finding both intellectual humor and Happy Bunny-style jokes unbearably funny. I'm addicted to chocolate, books, sweet coffee, ghost stories, and anything romantic! I find calligraphy, the language of flowers, handwritten letters, delicate lace and lovely writing paper to be the epitomy of beauty. However , I also enjoy silly toys, brightly colored baubles and a touch of whimsy.

I love country, metal, rock, jazz, club...basically any kind, but I don't like genuine rap music. My all time favorite artists are Big & Rich, Metallica, The Beach Boys, and Hinder, if that gives you an idea! I am currently listening to a lot of country and oldies.

Girly movies are great fun, as are those that really make you think. I love The Princess Bride, A.I., the Disney Classics, Army of Darkness, and any Monty Python movie!

I tend not to watch much TV, but when I do I watch historical, medical, or crime shows, preferrably with a human interest element. I also love Ghost Hunters!

I love to crochet and knit, and I also dye and spin yarn. Any craft that uses fibers, I probably dabble in from time-to-time - I cross stitch, embroider, latch hook, paint-by-number, quilt...basically everything.

My main crafts are yarn based, and I love to try new types. That said, I prefer soft or silky textures, and love self-striping varieties. My current favorites are Panda Wool and Tofutsies sock yarns, machine-washable baby yarns in anything but pastels, and anything with an unusual fiber content - bamboo, soy, silk, alpaca, etc. I love finding new patterns to work from, and am currently obsessed with making baby clothes and toys (wonder why!) I also adore knitting and crochet novelties - stitch markers, needles (especially wooden ones), fun tape measures, and any sort of storage or organization stuff for my projects. My favorite spinning fibers are merino and alpaca, but I also love anything with a bit of glitz to it. I dye with food coloring and drink mixes (like KoolAid), and I'm always looking for new or unusual colors. Since the rest of the crafts I do are really just dabbling, I haven't formed preferences yet.

Dislikes are difficult, as there is an exception to every rule. I dislike the color brown, unless you mean chocolate. I don't like muted or dingy colors, or rough and scratchy textures. I truly dislike novelty yarn, although some of the projects that use it are quite pretty. I don't enjoy cutesy (Hello Kitty) unless it is also snarky (Happy Bunny).
